Appointments
Telephone Reception on 01772 970 907 for an appointment.
GP appointments are telephone triaged in the first instance by a GP or Nurse Practitioner. The clinician will then decide whether your problem requires you to attend the surgery for a face to face review, which they will schedule with you over the phone.
The practice runs two triage sessions per day. The morning list opens at 8am and closes at 11.30am. The afternoon list opens at 1pm and closes at 4pm. There is a cap placed on each of these lists, so we ask patients to call as close to the opening time as possible to enable us to assist you.
This process enables us to assist vastly more patients each day than a total face to face model would.
We offer some routine, prebookable face to face appointments with the GPs. These are released the week before the appointment is due to take place. These slots are available to be prebooked online.
Practice Nurse appointments can be booked up to 1 month in advance. Our receptionists will be able to advise you if the service you require is undertaken by a Doctor or Nurse.
Our appointment system is there to help patients to see a GP or nurse.
If you wish to book your appointments on line please speak to the receptionist who will provide the necessary paperwork for you.
Please ensure that the practice holds your up to date contact details.
Notice to Patients who are over 75 years of age
In Line with Department of Health Guidelines with effect from 1st April 2014, any patient of 75 years and over must have a named GP for their care.
Notice to all patients
If you are unsure of whom your named doctor is please ask the receptionist to check for you. You are still free to see any other doctor in the Practice.
PLEASE BE AWARE ALL PHONE CALLS TO THIS PRACTICE ARE RECORDED.
